This postsecret especially hit home today because my Criminology class was about domestic violence. The teacher played a tape of a six year old girl calling 911 about her mom and step dad fighing. The child explains how the step dad put red marks on her moms neck and punched and knocked out her four year old sister. At the time of the call the step dad had picked up the girls six week old brother and was theatening to take him. The girls mother came on the phone and said send the police then hung out. It broke my heart. I dealt with my parents fighting a lot when I was younger so it was heartbreaking to hear that.
