Although I absolutely love some college football, people take it way too seriously. I watched the game the last night with about twenty of my closest friends. Four of them were beaver fans and the rest ducks. Intimidating right? Not so much. I heard all week from people how their was no way the beavers weren't gonna win this or I smell roses. I have never heard so many people thinking in their hearts that a team (Oregon State) was going to win. Of course I stuck with my fellow cocky Oregon fans and argued all the reasons why Oregon was going to win but I did not realize until last night how intense this game was. Most of my Oregon State fan friends were almost in tears after they realized they weren't going to win. Never have i seen so much trash talking, jumping up and down, and hollering. So I come to my point that die hard fans are exactly that, die hard. What a win though. In my heart of hearts I really thought this game was going to be really close but Oregon was on their game last night. Good for them.
